Reflection on Today's Verse
How easy it is to drift from the simplicity of God’s grace. The Galatians were being pulled away from the grace of Christ into another gospel, one mixed with human effort, religious performance, and fleshly confidence.
But grace is not something we begin with and then replace with works. Grace is the foundation of the believer’s life from start to finish. Christ has finished the work. He gave Himself for our sins. He delivered us according to the will of God. Our confidence must remain in Him alone.
When the heart becomes troubled, pressured, or distracted by man-made religion, this verse calls us back: stay with the grace of Christ. Do not trade the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ for another message.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me into the grace of Christ. Keep my heart from being moved away by another gospel, by human tradition, or by confidence in the flesh. Help me stand firm in the truth of the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Teach me to rest in Your grace, walk in Your truth, and reject anything that adds to or takes away from the gospel revealed in Your Word. May my faith remain centered on Christ alone.
