Reflection on Today's Verse
A saved believer is no longer a servant living under fear, bondage, or the pressure of proving worth before God. Through Christ, we are made sons and heirs of God. That means our relationship with Him is not based on distance, uncertainty, or religious performance, but on grace, acceptance, and spiritual inheritance.
This verse gives comfort because it shows how complete our position is in Christ. We do not have to earn our place in God’s family. We belong to Him through Christ. As heirs, we can live with confidence, not because of who we are in ourselves, but because of what God has made us in His Son.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for making me no longer a servant, but a son through Christ. Thank You for the grace that gives me a place in Your family and an inheritance that I could never earn by my own works.
Help me to live today with peace, knowing that my standing before You is secure in Christ. Remove fear, doubt, and the pressure to prove myself. Teach me to rest in Your grace and walk as someone who belongs to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
