Reflection on Today's Verse
Sometimes you can move through the day feeling like you are missing something… strength, peace, clarity, worth. Your mind may start measuring your life by what is not working yet, what you wish were different, or what you think you still need before you can feel secure. But this passage shifts your eyes away from lack and back to what is already true in Christ.
God has already blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. That means your deepest need is not answered by chasing acceptance, proving your value, or trying to earn a better standing before God. In Christ, you are already richly supplied. You may still face hard days, unanswered questions, and real struggles, but spiritually, you are not empty. You are blessed, accepted, and secure because of what God has done through His Son.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in Christ. When my heart feels empty, anxious, or not enough, help me remember that my true riches are already found in Him. Teach me not to live as though I am still lacking what You have already provided by Your grace.
Help me rest in my standing in Christ and to walk today with gratitude, peace, and confidence in what You have given. Let my heart be anchored in Your truth and not in my changing feelings. In Jesus Christ’s name, Amen.
