1 Corinthians 5:7 – Today’s Verse for March 13, 2026 Friday

Reflection on Today's Verse from 1 Corinthians 5:7 - March 13th 2026

Reflection on Today's Verse

Christ is called our Passover because He is the One who stood in our place and gave Himself for us. That means your peace with God is not based on how strong you feel today, how well you performed this week, or whether your emotions are steady. It is based on Christ alone. He was sacrificed for you.

When guilt tries to speak, when your heart starts focusing on failure, or when you feel unworthy to come before God, this verse brings you back to the cross. The answer is not to trust yourself more. The answer is to rest in what Jesus already finished. His sacrifice was enough. Completely enough.

Because Christ is your Passover, you do not live trying to earn acceptance. You live from acceptance already given in Him. That gives you freedom to walk in sincerity, truth, and thankful obedience—not to be saved, but because you already belong to Him.

Personal Prayer

Father, thank You that Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us. Thank You that my standing with You is not built on my own goodness, but on the finished work of Your Son. When I feel condemned, remind me that Jesus already paid the price for me. When I feel weak, help me rest in His strength. When my heart is troubled, anchor me again in the truth of the gospel.

Teach me to walk in sincerity and truth, not trying to earn Your love, but living in the peace of knowing I am already accepted in Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
