Reflection on Today's Verse
Some days you feel like you have to “earn your way back” to God—by being extra disciplined, extra holy, extra consistent. But Galatians 2:21 cuts through that pressure: if righteousness could come by the law, then the cross was pointless.
So when you mess up, the answer isn’t to punish yourself into change. The answer is to come back to grace—because grace is not a weak plan. It’s God’s plan. You don’t honor Christ by proving yourself… you honor Him by trusting what He already finished.
Personal Prayer
Father in heaven, thank You for Your grace that I did not earn and could never deserve. Forgive me for the times I try to make myself righteous by my own efforts, as if Christ died for nothing. Help me rest in what the Lord Jesus Christ has already accomplished for me.
Teach my heart to live by faith, not by fear… by Your truth, not by condemnation. Let Your grace strengthen me today to walk in humility, gratitude, and quiet confidence in Christ.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
