Reflection on Today's Verse from Ephesians 4:28 - February 9th 2026

Reflection on Today's Verse

This is more than “stop stealing.” It shows what real change looks like: replace the old pattern with a new one.

  • Don’t keep taking—start working.

  • Don’t keep doing harm—do what is good.

  • Don’t live for self—live to give.

This is how grace reshapes a life: not just by removing the wrong, but by planting something better in its place. Today, think of one area where you need a “switch”—from shortcuts to honesty, from grabbing to serving, from waste to usefulness.

Personal Prayer

Father, thank You for Your grace that doesn’t only forgive me, but also renews me. Teach me to lay down old ways and to walk in what is right. Give me willing hands to labor honestly, a heart that loves what is good, and a spirit that wants to bless others instead of taking for myself.

Help me be faithful in my work today, and make me someone who has something to give to those in need. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
