Reflection on Today's Verse
This verse doesn’t pretend “all things are good.” It says God can make all things work together for good. That means even the parts you’d never choose—mistakes, detours, disappointments—aren’t wasted in His hands. You may not see the “good” right away. But God isn’t only working in outcomes… He’s also working in you: steadying your heart, deepening your trust, and shaping your walk in His purpose.
So today, you don’t need to force a fake smile or pretend you’re okay. You just need to lean into this: God is not absent in the hard parts. He’s weaving, even when you can’t yet see the pattern.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that Thou art faithful, even when my life feels uncertain. Lord, I bring before Thee the things that trouble my heart—the burdens I cannot fix, the situations I do not understand, and the delays that test my patience. Help me to trust that Thou art working, not only in what I can see, but also in what I cannot.
Strengthen my faith to rest in Thy purpose. Give me peace where there is confusion, courage where there is fear, and hope where I feel weak. Teach me to love Thee in every season, and to remember that my life is held by Thy hand.
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
