Reflection on Today's Verse
When your mind won’t stop replaying what you “should’ve done,” This verse is God’s quiet reset button: you’re not negotiating for peace… Christ already secured it. Peace with God isn’t a reward for a better week; it’s your standing because you’ve been justified by faith. So when guilt tries to drag you back into performance mode, you can answer it with truth: “I’m at peace with God through my Lord Jesus Christ.”
Personal Prayer
Father, I thank thee that through our Lord Jesus Christ I have peace with thee. When my heart is troubled and my thoughts accuse me, help me to rest in what Christ hath done, not in what I can do.
Teach me to walk today as one justified by faith… calm, humble, and thankful. Let thy peace rule in my heart, and let my life give Him honor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
