Reflection on Today's Verse from2 Corinthians 2:14 - February 22nd 2026

Reflection on Today's Verse

When you wake up and the day already feels heavy, it’s easy to measure “triumph” by visible wins… money, results, applause, ease. But God defines it differently. He “causeth us to triumph in Christ.” That means your victory isn’t fragile, and it isn’t based on how smooth the day goes. Even in delays, misunderstandings, and pressure, you’re still being led by Him and He’s still making His knowledge known through you.

And that “savour” part is so practical. You don’t have to preach loud to be powerful. Your patience, your steadiness, your grace under stress, your refusal to panic… those carry a scent. People notice. The Lord can take an ordinary day and use your words, choices, and attitude to spread the fragrance of Christ “in every place,” even in places you’d rather avoid.

Personal Prayer

Father, I thank thee that thou always causest me to triumph in Christ. When I feel weak, distracted, or overwhelmed, settle my heart in what is true. Lead me today—step by step—and keep me from striving in the flesh. Let the savour of thy knowledge be made manifest through me in every place I go.

Guard my mouth, guide my thoughts, and help me respond with grace. Use my life to point others to Christ, and give me quiet confidence that thou art working even when I cannot see it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
