Reflection on Today's Verse from Romans 2:4 - February 12th 2026

Reflection on Today's Verse

God’s goodness is not Him ignoring sin. It’s Him giving you room to breathe, room to see clearly, and room to turn back without being crushed by shame.

Sometimes you mistake His patience for distance. You think, “If God really cared, He’d correct me harder.” But the verse flips that: His kindness is the very thing pulling you close.

So if you’ve been dragging guilt around, hear this: repentance is not paying God back. It’s simply agreeing with Him and coming home. His goodness leads… not your fear.

Personal Prayer

Father, thank You for Your goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering toward me. Forgive me for the times I have taken Your patience lightly, or used it as an excuse to stay the same. Let Your kindness soften my heart, not harden it.

Help me to turn from anything that is pulling me away from You, and to rest in what Christ has done for me. Teach me to walk in the light with a clean conscience, not under condemnation, but under grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
