Reflection on Today's Verse
The “curse of the law” is the weight of you must… you must be perfect, you must never fail, you must measure up. But Christ didn’t negotiate with the curse… He absorbed it. He stood in your place and took what the law demanded, so you could receive what grace gives. That means your peace isn’t built on your performance today. It’s built on His finished work. When guilt tries to pull you back into fear, this verse pulls you back into rest: redeemed means bought out, set free, done deal.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You that Christ redeemed me from the curse of the law. Thank You that He took my place and carried what I could never carry. When my mind slips back into striving, fear, or self-condemnation, bring me back to the cross… back to Your grace and Your peace.
Help me rest in what Jesus finished, and let that rest shape how I think, speak, and live today. I choose to believe Your Word over my feelings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
