You’re not being justified because you performed well this week. You’re justified freely—not cheaply, but freely—because the price was paid in Christ. When guilt tries to drag you back into “prove yourself” mode, this verse pulls you forward into rest. Your standing with God isn’t a fragile feeling. It’s a finished redemption.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You that I am justified freely by Your grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. When my heart accuses me, remind me that Jesus already paid in full.
Teach me to stop striving for what You’ve already given, and to walk today in quiet confidence, gratitude, and humility. Let my words and choices reflect Your grace… not fear, not performance, not shame. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
