Romans 14:1 – Today’s Verse for July 14, 2025 Monday

“Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.“
—  Romans 14:1 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

Some people walk into the church with bold faith, others hobble in barely holding on. And Paul? He doesn’t tell us to size them up. He says welcome them. Not argue, not fix, not debate their every belief. Just accept them. Because God did.

This verse is a gut check. It reminds us that spiritual maturity isn’t proven by how many arguments we win, but by how many people we love—even when their views don’t line up with ours. The strong in faith are called to build up the weak, not belittle them. And sometimes, “disputable matters” are just pride dressed up as theology.

Grace is the glue. And this verse? It tells us to use more glue, less gavel.

Personal Prayer

Lord, help me welcome others the way You welcomed me—mess and all. When my opinions want to speak louder than love, quiet me.

Teach me to be patient with those who are still growing, just as You’ve been patient with me. Let my heart be wide open to those who are finding their way in You. Amen. (1234567891011121314151617181920)
